“Moral” veganism, as a philosophy, is Satanic. Evolution and natural selection are the underlying principles of vegetarianism and veganism. The Bible teaches that such doctrines are the “doctrines of devils” and those who promote them are doing so under the influence of “seducing spirits”.

“MORAL” VEGANISM IS DEMONIC

1 Timothy 4:1-5:

There are several groups of people today who teach that we should STOP EATING MEAT.

… including certain RELIGIOUS GROUPS …

… as well as VEGANS & VEGETARIANS today who teach that EATING ANIMALS is wrong …

… because they are “SENTIENT BEINGS” who are on EQUAL STATURE with humans.

To give you an example, I ran across a woman recently on Facebook who called herself a CHRISTIAN …

… but also claimed to be a strict VEGAN.

& When I told her that ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE, animals have been given to us by God as food,

… she tried to passionately persuade me that killing animals for any reason is immoral …

When I appealed to what the Bible had to say on this matter …

her response was that Jesus wouldn’t “murder” a SENTIENT BEING.

OK, first of all it’s not murder to kill an animal.

Second, I appealed to the fact that JESUS ate the PASSOVER MEAL every year of His life …

… and that the PASSOVER MEAL included a real, living SACRIFICIAL LAMB …

… that was slaughtered as a symbol of atonement for sins.

In fact, God the Father set up the whole animal sacrificial system as a way to foreshadow the sacrifice of His Son …

So I’m sure neither GOD nor JESUS had a problem with it.

& so 1 Timothy 4:1-5 applies to several groups of people …

… & also several false religions, who are also now promoting a form of veganism, including:

(1) THE HEBREW ROOTS CULT, which is a religious group of Judiazers …

… who’s goal is to place every Christian back into bondage to the Law of Moses …

THE HEBREW ROOTS CULT teaches that Christians must still follow the Old Testament laws …

… including the FOOD LAWS …

… & therefore abstain from “unclean” foods, such as pork or shellfish.

The Hebrew Roots Cult is ultimately a WORKS-BASED false religion.

(2) Another false religion that this group applies to is Roman Catholicism.

Catholics are commanded to abstain from meat on ASH WEDNESDAY & GOOD FRIDAY as a form of penance.

This is nowhere commanded in the Bible.

In fact, Prior to 1966, the Roman Catholic church prohibited meat on ALL FRIDAYS throughout the year.

(3) Third, 7TH-DAY ADVENTISTS are another big, religious cult that strongly urges its members to abstain from meat ..

… & to live as vegetarians.

They state on their official website, ADVENTIST.ORG:

“We believe God calls us to care for our bodies, treating them with the respect a divine creation deserves … A well-balanced vegetarian diet that avoids the consumption of meat coupled with intake of legumes, whole grains, nuts, fruits and vegetables, along with a source of vitamin B12, will promote vigorous health.”

The implication is that eating meat is not healthy …

… & therefore something that God would not approve.

But such teachings are not in the Bible …

… but have their roots in the writings of their false prophetess, ELLEN G. WHITE …

… who claimed to have received numerous visions …

… in which she claims God commanded her to stop eating meat.

In her own words: “The Lord presented a general plan before me. I was shown that God would give to His commandmentkeeping people a reform diet, and that as they received this, their disease and suffering would be greatly lessened.”

But according to 1 Timothy 4, Ellen G. White’s vision was not from God …

… but from a “SEDUCING SPIRIT” which taught her “DOCTRINES OF DEVILS”.

(4) Finally, the 4th group is “ETHICAL” VEGANS & VEGETARIANS, who abstain from meat for philosophical or moral reasons …

… & who have been influenced by EVOLUTIONARY THOUGHT …

… whether they are aware of it or not.

This is the group I’d like to mainly focus on today.

(5) Before I do, let me mention the 5th group …

… which includes people who choose to be vegetarians or vegans …

… for what they believe are HEALTH REASONS …

… or because they were raised by vegans or vegetarians …

… and are just used to that kind of diet …

… even though they don’t consider it an ethical or moral issue.

& so we need to be aware of the underlying reasons behind MODERN VEGANISM.

LOOKING BACK TO 1 TIMOTHY 4:1-5, we see in this passage, that:

There are some people who, as APOSTATE CHRISTIANS will, in the end times, will demand that we abstain from certain kinds of meat.

1 Timothy 4:1: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith”.

I believe this includes RELIGIOUS VEGANISM, as we see with the 7day Day Adventists (who are outright vegetarians) …

… or the Hebrew Roots Movement (who command that we abstain from certain meats).

& 1 Timothy 4:1 tells us plainly that such people are being INFLUENCED BY DEMONS.

1 Timothy 4:1 says specifically that they give “heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”.

I take that literally.
That’s the origin of such teachings.

That’s why CONSCIENTIOUS VEGANISM isn’t just a harmless LIFESTYLE CHOICE …

… but a dangerous philosophy with Satanic origins.

It’s also interesting that along with forbidding the eating of meat, the Bible also says that some will also forbid marriage.

1 Timothy 4:3 says: “Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats …”

With the onslaught of attacks on Biblical marriage today by the LGBT agenda …

… we can easily envision the day when we will be commanded to abstain from marriage.

ROMAN CATHOLICS also forbid their priests to marry …

… whereas the Bible teaches just the opposite:

… that marriage & children are requirements for being a bishop.

So the Bible forewarns us that all of these attacks on food are the product of End-Times Satanically inspired lies.

That, according to the 1 Timothy 4:3-5 ALL meats are good for food & to be received with thanksgiving:
3 God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

THAT’S WHY WE PRAY BEFORE EVERY MEAL.

It’s not just an empty religious ritual …

… but a way to express our thanks for the food we are about to eat …

& to ask God to bless & sanctify our food, so that it is safe & healthy for our bodies.

But there are VEGANS today who, whether they realize it or not …

… are succumbing to the lie of EVOLUTION.

EVOLUTION ultimately teaches that WE ARE ALL ANIMALS who share a COMMON ANCESTOR …

… & that MANKIND is nothing more than an ADVANCED APE who evolved over millions of years …

& so, increasingly, the lie is being pushed by some in our culture THAT EATING ANIMALS IS WRONG.

EVOLUTION elevates the status of ANIMALS to that of MAN.

Or you can think of it this way:

Evolution devalues human life to that of animals.

& EVOLUTION is ultimately the UNDERLYING PHILOSOPHY behind VEGANISM today …

But both the BIBLE & even REAL SCIENCE itself are clear that EVOLUTION is a lie.

The Bible first.

THE BIBLE TEACHES that God created ALL MATTER & SPACE, & even TIME.
… that Creation was not the result of the RANDOM EFFECTS of the BIG BANG THEORY …

… & the unproven theory of EVOLUTION & NATURAL SELECTION.

John 1:3 says: “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

The Bible also teaches in Genesis 2:7 that GOD MADE MAN …

… & that MAN was NOT the product of millions of years of NATURAL SELECTION:

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

THE BIG BANG is nothing but another SCI-FI story dreamed up by philosophers, not scientists …

… who assert that the UNIVERSE EXPANDED out of a dense SINGULARITY of nothing …

… (out of a single dot which contained all matter & space) …

… which then randomly expanded outwards in all directions …

… & somehow formed together into all the known elements …

… & then magically organized itself into our solar system & all the galaxies …

… and the stars, & the sun, & eventually even us.

… Without the aid of any outside intervention or Intelligent Design …

And the one thing scientists can never answer is where that dense SINGULARITY came from in the first place …

… & why it decided to suddenly and violently expand …

IN FACT, one question you may want to ask EVOLUTIONISTS & BIG BANG THEORISTS is:

How were the NATURAL LAWS of the UNIVERSE created?

Why is there such a thing as GRAVITY or ENTROPY or RELATIVITY?

What about the LAWS OF THERMO-DYNAMICS and heat transfer?

Why is the speed of light 670,616,629 miles per hour?

Why is that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light?

And where did these LAWS originate?

Of course, we know that the answer to these questions, questions which baffle the scientific mind …

is that for an intelligent design to exist, it requires the existence of an intelligent creator …

… which forge such laws.

Scientists are willing to admit that it would take an intelligent creator to create something as simple as a WOODEN PULPIT …

or this house … or the chairs you are sitting on …

Or this book.

A child knows that such things could never form on their own …

… not even in billions of years of random fluctuations.

But sci-fi scientists, as I like to call them …

… claim that whole, complex galaxies & the unfathomable workings of human anatomy …

& everything known species and plant in the universe occurred by mere chance.

Well, the Bible has a different view of it.

The Bible teaches, in the very first chapter & verse, that God created all matter, time, & space: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

Speaking of Jesus as Creator, Colossians 1:16-17 says:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Hebrews 11:3 says: “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

See, the Bible already says that EVERYTHING came from NOTHING.

It taught this thousands of years before any scientist did!

The difference is that the Bible has the complete answer.

It was God who SPOKE the UNI-VERSE into being through HIS WORD.

There is no MULTI-VERSE, btw, as some “scientists” and science fiction fans like to claim.

I like KENT HOVIND’S description of it …

There is only a UNI-VERSE (UNI meaning ONE and VERSE meaning WORD).

There are no ALTERNATE REALITIES, no PARALLEL TIMELINES or TIME TRAVEL …

… no multi-earths on different planes of existence, & no MULTIVERSES.

There is only ONE, UNIFIED REALITY, A UNI-VERSE created by GOD alone …

And this UNI-VERSE is understood only through Jesus Christ, who IS the WORD.

If the BIG BANG THEORY was a viable explanation of creation …

What would CAUSE the “nothing” within the “singularity” to expand outwards without any catalyst?

In other words, how could nothing explode or expand by itself without anything to ignite it?

There was no flame or fire.

It couldn’t have been a CHEMICAL REACTION, since chemicals didn’t exist yet.

It couldn’t have been a NUCLEAR FISSURE, since atoms didn’t exist yet.

So what caused NOTHING to suddenly & violently EXPAND & to become SOMETHING?

The only explanation is Genesis 1:1.

But people ask: “If God created everything, who created God?”

Well, that’s simple.

GOD EXISTS eternally outside SPACE & TIME.

That’s why Jesus said in John 8:58: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

That’s why He says of Himself in Revelation 22:13: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”

God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, & eternal.

Nothing cannot beget something without an outside force being the cause.

NATURAL SELECTION, EVOLUTION, & the BIG BANG are nothing but lies & vain philosophy.

Colossians 2:8 says: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

& the reason I’m spending time exposing the LIE OF EVOLUTION & THE BIG BANG …

… is because those who tell us to STOP EATING MEAT for ethical reasons …

… have been deceived by devilish doctrines into thinking that ANIMALS are of equal stature to HUMANS.

IT’S LIKE when we go out soul winning &walk the neighborhoods …

Marshall can’t help but to repeatedly express that the neighborhoods we walk through are like ghost-towns.

Instead of children playing in the streets or answering the doors …

… the neighborhoods are filled with cats & dogs.

People have replaced their children with PETS.

& everyone is either on BIRTH CONTROL or have ABORTED their own babies …

… & replaced their children with PETS.

People often refer to their pets as their family, as their babies.

& I really, really like my dog and my cat and even our chickens & horses.

But I don’t love them, not truly.

Because if I did, I would be willing to DIE for my animals …

… and that’s not something I’m willing to do.

John 15:13 says: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Are you willing to die for your animals today? I’m not!

Because animals are not equal to humans, not in any way shape or form.

There’s a difference between being attached to your animal & loving them.

And look, I’m against random cruelty to animals.

I’m even against TROPHY HUNTING.

I don’t think we need to shoot exotic animals like ELEPHANTS or GIRAFFES & LIONS for sport.

But I do believe HUNTING FOR FOOD is honorable.

Being a steward & having dominion over animals doesn’t mean we treat them inhumanely (to use a horrible choice of words there) …

Proverbs 12:10 says: “A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.”

The way that we treat animals reveals our own character traits.

The BIG MEAT INDUSTRY in AMERICA today is ASTONISHINGLY HORRID …

Aside from the HEALTH ISSUES of eating non-organic grain-fed beef, for example …

… the way they treat animals in the large, corporate meat industries is disgusting.

That’s another reason to eat grass-fed, organic meats.

& the Bible teaches that God also cares for the animals He has created.

In Matthew 6:26, Jesus said: “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”

God cares enough to feed the birds of the air.

But notice what He says next: “Are ye not much better than they?”

God makes a clear distinction between MANKIND & ANIMALS.

Of all of God’s creation, we only are made in God’s image …

That doesn’t just include how we appear, but our very nature.

& so God has given MAN DOMINION over all the earth, including ALL ANIMALS.

Genesis 1:26: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

We talked about this last week.

We are supposed to be good stewards of the creation.

This doesn’t mean that we destroy the earth by spraying our skies with chemtrails …

or poisoning our fresh water with fluoride …

… or radically altering our food through GMOs.

But we are supposed to have dominion over the earth & be responsible stewards over the Creation.

This is a truth that should be obvious to Christians, but is often missed.

And I’m not talking about government regulation, far from it …

… but individual, Christian responsibility, and common sense legislations.

NOW, THERE IS SOME TRUTH to the heart of the arguments behind VEGANISM.

… In the ORIGINAL CREATION …

God did not create us to be OMNIVORES (to eat both meat & plants).

BEFORE THE FALL, MAN was a VEGAN SO TO SPEAK, eating only the fruit of trees & plants.

Even the all the animals only ate plants.

Because there was yet no death in the world …

No blood had been shed, no animal or human had ever been killed …

And that was God’s design.
… until after the FALL.

Genesis 1:29-30, prior to the Fall of man, says:
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

The first animal death was a direct result of man’s disobedience & fall.

God slew the first animals Himself & used their skins to cover the nakedness of Adam & Eve.

This was symbolic of covering their transgressions through a BLOOD SACRIFICE.

Genesis 3:21 says: “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.”

& MAN DID NOT EAT MEAT until after the FLOOD.

After THE FLOOD, God said to Noah in Genesis 9:2-3:
2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

So a change-over was made at this point of Biblical history …

… MEAT became, not only permissible, but a blessing & a benefit.

The only restriction is that we are to abstain from consuming blood.

In Genesis 9:4 God says: “But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.”

When God gave Moses the Law, He made it official in Leviticus 17:11: “For the life of the flesh is in the blood …”

THE BLOOD contains LIFE & was only to be used for the purpose of making atonement for the soul: “ … and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”

The blood of animals was to be set apart as a life-giving symbol …

… foreshadowing the blood of Jesus, who would permanently atone for our souls.

The restriction against consuming blood also crossed over into the NEW TESTAMENT.

Paul declared in Acts 15:28:29 regarding gentiles:
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication …

But when it comes to MEAT of any kind …

… the Bible clearly teaches that all animals are made clean under the new covenant.

In Acts 11, the Bible specifically declares, that under the new covenant …

… ALL ANIMALS are now clean & can be eaten as food.

This is a direct Biblical answer to both the HEBREW ROOTS cult & to 7th-Day Adventists …

… as well as to secular vegans.

In Acts 11:5-9, Peter is given a vision of animals, which the Bible formerly forbade under the old covenant:
5 I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

The Bible declares all animals clean …

… & that all animals can now be received as food …

… That, like 1 Timothy 4:4 said: “For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:”

Jesus even declared in Matthew 15:11 that the foods that we eat & drink are not sinful …

… but the words which we speak from the heart are what defile us: “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.”

The Bible is clear that eating meat is not a moral deliberation.

The Bible only speaks against gluttony.

Proverbs 23:20-21:
20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:
21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty:

In Colossians 2:16-17, the Bible also says not to let any man judge you in matters of meat or drink:
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

& that’s what VEGANISM is really about.

They’re on a mission to convince others to stop eating meat …

… because they consider it equal to murdering humans.

IF THEY COULD, they would make EATING MEAT ILLEGAL.

Because of its allegedly moral basis …

… VEGANISM is about judging MEAT EATERS as crude, insensitive, or immoral.

… whereas the Bible makes no such judgment.

Now, judgment can go both ways.

While it’s good & important to understand the connection between EVOLUTION & VEGANISM …

We also need to be mindful of people deceived by this lie.

This doesn’t mean that we should tolerate false teaching or that we shouldn’t expose the lies …

… but Romans 14 also teaches tolerance about other people’s food choices.

Romans 14:2-4 states:
2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

My wife likes to point out that the Bible says that vegetarians are “weak”.

But it’s true.

While this passage is primarily about eating meats sacrificed to idols …

The Bible is pointing out that MEAT EATERS whose conscience is clear are not the weak in faith …

… but those who abstain from meat.

The Bible is teaching to tolerate and help the weak in faith …

… who would stumble at what we may eat or drink.

Romans 14:3-4 says:
3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

In Romans 14:6, it says: “…he that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.”

Romans 14:14 really encapsulates the whole matter: “I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.”

In other words, to each his own.

Christians shouldn’t judge one another based on their food choices …

… except in the cases of drunkenness or gluttony.

Proverbs 15:17 says: “Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.”

So in all things, we are to be ruled by love.

The Kingdom of God is more than food & drink.

Romans 14:17 concludes the whole matter: “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

But we know that philosophically, morally, theologically …

… there is nothing wrong with eating meat.

Again, Paul says: “I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself …”

SO IN CONCLUSION …

The various forms of VEGANISM & VEGETARIANISM that are being pushed today …

… by both FALSE RELIGIOUS GROUPS & VEGANS are influenced by EVOLUTION & NATURAL SELECTION …

… which are the DOCTRINES OF DEVILS.

I love Isaiah 44:24-25 because it shows that God confounds the wisdom of men through the act of creating the world:
24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I [am] the LORD that maketh all [things]; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise [men] backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

This is a parallel to Romans 1:20-24, which states:
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

And that’s exactly what they do.

People who are wise in their own eyes, reject God, & become foolish.

As a result, they start worshipping the CREATION instead of the CREATOR.

They attribute the work of God in Creation to the creation itself …

Do you know how insane that is?

2 Peter 3:5a says: “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old …”

IN THE END …

the VIOLENCE which is now inherent in the FALLEN CREATION will cease once God regenerates the WORLD.

Isaiah 11:6-9 says:
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

1 Corinthians 10:31 says: “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
