Train Up a Child

You’ve heard cliché: “Children are our future”.
Cliché’s become clichés because there’s usually a great measure of truth in them, and so they get repeated over & over again, until they become white noise or background noise & we get tired of hearing them.
But it’s so important to the future of this nation and the generations that we raise our children in the Lord.
Deuteronomy 6:1-9

Now I want to focus on one particular aspect of this.
The Bible says that we should teach God’s Law diligently to our children … to our son’s and our son’s sons, through the generations.

God says that we should talk of His Laws when we’re sitting in our houses (v.7), when we’re walking by the way (that means when we’re out & about (out in public), when we’re lying down (when it’s time for bed or resting), and when “thou risest up” (when we get up in the morning).

The Bible says that our lives should be constantly permeating the Word of God and that we should meditate on His Law day in and day out.
A day shouldn’t pass where we’re not talking about the Word, studying the Word, & teaching the Word to our children.

So much so that He says to bind His law as a sign on your hand, and as frontlets between your eyes. And to write them on the posts of your houses & your gates!

So what is this about binding the Law as a frontlet between thine eyes and as a sign upon thine hand?

This was supposed to be a reminder to God’s people to observe God’s Word and obey His commandments.

So the children of Israel would literally bind the Word on their hands and on foreheads.

(It’s kind of interesting to me that – just as a sidenote – that the Anti-Christ, when he comes, will mark his people on their hands and foreheads), – Satan is a great imitator – kind of like the way God in times past marked His people with His own Word).
And I’m not saying to go out and physically bind the Word of God on your hands – because that’s done away.

But you can carry around a Bible in your hand wherever you go, like brother Marshall takes his little pocket Bible with him everywhere, and you can read the Word of God wherever you go, and be constantly studying God’s Word.

2 Timothy 2:15 says: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

And in the next chapter 2 Timothy 3:15: “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

So it’s the concept of having God’s Word in front of your eyes, in the forefront of your mind, & available to you & in your hands.

… be ready always to study God’s Word.
1 Peter 3:15: “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear …”

And so what I want to preach about today, is the importance of teaching our children and the next generation of youth about the Word of God, about God’s Laws, especially as we are living in a perverse and wicked generation!

The Bible stresses over & over again that we are to teach our sons and our son’s sons.

And as we obey God’s Laws – the Bible says that we will be blessed.

The Bible says our days will be prolonged in v.2; (so we are promised long life as we observe God’s laws),
We’re promised that it will be “well” with us, in v.3; that we will “increase mightily”.

• And this is paralleled again in Deuteronomy 11:18-21.
• God repeats this over & over again …
• We see it also in Deut 4:5-9
But that’s the exact opposite of what’s happening today in America, in our nation, and in nations across the globe.

Except in Russia. I never thought I’d see the day when Russia is becoming more righteous than America.
Now, look, I’m not saying Russia is a good government.
I’m not saying Putin is a Saint.

But as we’re hoisting the sodomite flag over the White House, the Russian government is creating a heterosexual pride flag promoting the traditional family.
In Muslim nations, they execute sodomites.
ISIS executes sodomites.

But in the U.S., the perverts actually go into the schools and give lessons to 6-year olds on “gender diversity.”

The Bible says in Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

The sodomites know this. The atheists know this. And they’re indoctrinating your children!

If you don’t teach your kids, somebody else will!
And most Christians are letting the world, and the public school system, and the TV, and the watered-down Chuck E Cheese churches raise their kids, and then they wonder why they don’t believe in the Bible anymore when they grow up.

Children can get a lot more from this service, and learn how to sit and be disciplined and learn how to behave for church instead of being taught that church a rock n roll fun center where you go to eat cookies and watch Veggie Tales.

Children are going to come here and sit and learn from the pure Word of the King James Bible, not one of these dumbed down versions that they give them in Sunday school.

And it’s not because we’re just starting out and we don’t have the resources – we’re never going to do that here.

There’s one congregation, one body, one church, one Bible, one Gospel, and we’re a family service. We welcome people of all ages, we don’t discriminate.

God says of Abraham in Genesis 18:19: “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.”

So, again, it’s the same recurring theme. It’s throughout the whole Bible.

And some of you say, I raised my children in church and raised them on the Bible and taught them the ways of God and raised them right and now as they’ve gotten older, they’ve become worldly and gone away from the Lord …

And I’m not trying to be hard on you parents because it’s a tough job, but did you have them in public schools?

Were you teaching them from the KJV or did you drop them off at Sunday school where they were taught from a watered-down version?

What was your life like?
Were you constantly studying the Bible like Deut 6?
Did you have the Word like frontlets between your eyes?

Or were they watching TV all day?

Look, it’s your #1 job as a parent to educate your own children.

And if that’s happened to you, I feel for you – pray for your children.

Isaiah 54:13: “And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.”

I love that verse! Great shall be the PEACE of your children, when they shall be taught of God!

In Matthew 19, when the disciples wanted to segregate the children from Jesus, Jesus didn’t put up w/ that at all; He rebuked them!

Matthew 19:13-14:
13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Yet parents drop off their kids in the care of a bunch of strangers & segregate them from the main service.

Parents drop off their kids at the government indoctrination centers (aka public schools) for 8 hours a day, that’s a full work-day. And then they want to come to church and drop off their kids at the children’s ministry.

And then we hear about all these cases of child molestation in these youth groups!

I know of a church where a registered sex offender is a song leader, because they think that Jesus forgave him, and we gotta love him, because he can be reformed.

Child molesters never get reformed!

And what does the Bible say about those who hurt God’s children?

Matthew 18:6:
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Children’s ministries are magnets for child molesters.
Why would you drop off your kids with a bunch of strangers? I don’t care if it’s at church.

Did you know that between 25 – 40% of all child molesters are homosexuals? And at the same time only 2% of the overall population are homosexual. So it’s a hugely disproportionate. [explain].

Jesus highly esteems children.
When the disciples were disputing about who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven:

Mark 9:36-37:
36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,
37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

Jesus equated children with Himself.

And here’s why all this is important:
If we don’t teach our children about God, somebody else will teach them about the devil.

And one area that this happens is the public schools … the government indoctrination centers … that’s what they’ve literally become …

They’re taken over by an extreme liberal Anti-Christian agenda …

And they’re teaching children at the KINDERGARTEN level about “homosexuality”-about Sodomite marriage—and as they get older, about abortion, about Planned Parenthood, about birth-control.

Just this week I read about a case where schools are implanting IUDs (intra-uterine devices) in 11-year olds.

These are birth-control implants for 11-year olds, NOT ONLY WITHOUT THEIR PARENTS PERMISSION, but without their parent’s KNOWLEDGE!

This is actually happening in our State, in Seattle.

And now the States are rolling out forced vaccinations, beginning with CA.

They are literally going door-to-door to families that haven’t vaccinated their children … and offering to vaccinate them right there on the spot.

SB277, a new law signed by CA’s Governor Brown even removes personal & religious exemptions.

So even private schools aren’t exempt anymore.

 My advice: homeschool before they outlaw that too!

Homeschooling is the best option right now to get your kids out of the government’s indoctrination centers!

 7 QUICK TIPS TO HELP YOU RAISE GODLY CHILDREN:

1. Start an in-home Bible study with your family.

2. Pray w/out ceasing w/ your family.

3. Kid’s Bible Reading & Memorization.

4. Keep your kids w/ you in the main service.

5. Take them out of public schools, homeschool.

6. Teach them at a young age, from birth, from the womb.

7. Set an example. My kids see me reading the Bible constantly.

OK, so let’s tie this all together.

When it comes to the commandments, we know that the Commandments have no power to save.

The Law only reveals and exposes and condemns us of our sins.

Paul said in Romans 7:7: “I had not known sin, but by the law.” &
Galatians 3:11: “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.”

But the Bible says – and I’m preaching to you Christians – that we ought to keep the moral Law and commandments – not for salvation – But for holy living … and in order to be blessed in this life ….

Paul says in Romans 7:12: ”Wherefore the law [is] holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.”

1 Timothy 1:8: “But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;”

So Paul praises the moral Law as good.

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Hebrews 13:8).

• We know the moral Law hasn’t changed.

I understand that Deut 6 which we started with was a promise made to Israel as they were being prepared to possess the Promised Land.

But God hasn’t changed; the same principles apply to us today.

Right here, right now, in this nation, in America, & for Christians around the world …

But what we’re seeing in this country is the exact opposite.

We are being as defiant as Sodom and Gomorra!

& America is in grave danger today of being utterly destroyed!

Think about all the queer pride parades.
The queers are prancing around naked, in front of children, with public displays of nudity.

And I want to know: why aren’t the police arresting the queers?
It’s a public display of nudity. It’s happening in front of children, many of the sodomites are pedophiles, they all have it in their hearts if they haven’t acted on it yet, and the cops aren’t doing anything about it.

In fact, they’re there to protect these filthy faggots.

I’m issuing a call to all police depts. all across the United States to start arresting these perverts at these queer pride parades.

I don’t care if they have a permit to be there, they don’t have a permit to be naked.

Get out the riot gear, roll out your government-issued mine-resistant ambush protected vehicles, your MRAPS, your batons, your mace, and break up the pervert parades.

You’ll beat up some homeless man for selling cigarettes, you’ll beat someone up for supposedly “resisting arrest”, but you let these little sissies queers make a mockery out of the law, because you’re afraid you’ll be perceived as hateful.

We’re in a state in America today … where we’ve already called down God’s wrath & judgment on our nation.
It’s inevitable!

Too many babies have been killed.
Our government’s been taken over.
The sodomites are prancing around in the streets naked, they’re in our schools, they’re in our government, we’ve become Sodom.

8Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. (Revelation 18:8-10).

America will be destroyed at the fulfillment of Revelation 18, or before!

If America is Babylon of Revelation, we’ll be destroyed at that point. If we’re not Babylon, we’ll be destroyed before. So one way or another, we’re gonna get destroyed!
The only thing that we can do now … is FORESTALL the judgment – and ask God to STAY HIS HAND for a season, for a generation or two or three … which He will only answer based on OUR RESPONSE AS CHRISTIANS to WORLD EVENTS & the unfolding plans of the Anti-Christ …

But here’s the good news: WE CAN ASK GOD TO FORESTALL THAT JUDGMENT.

We can ask God to STAY HIS HAND …

We can ask God not to destroy the righteous with the wicked …

And how do we do that?

We start w/ the passage that we hear come up over & over again:

We begin w/ 2 Chronicles 7:14.

This is the verse that came up over & over again three years ago when the reprobate president won re-election in 2012.

Every Christian that was awake knew at that point that America was doomed … that America was on a downward spiral.
And we knew that it was a warning from God!

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

The call to repentance is to Christians! Not to the unsaved! The wicked are gonna be wicked! If we repent, God will spare us!

Go to our watered-down pastor and tell him you want to hear some fire-breathing preaching from the Word of God!
That’s what it’s gonna take!

And we wonder why God hasn’t destroyed America already.

Romans 2:4: “Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?”

So let me close w/ this:
If we are to survive as a nation, we need to live holy lives & we need to teach our children. Otherwise, get ready to run to the mountains, because the Anti-Christ is about to come on the scene!
