Preterism is the teaching that all Biblical prophecy was fulfilled in AD 70 when Rome destroyed Jerusalem and the second Jewish temple. Preterists deny the literal Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the Great Tribulation, the White Throne Judgment and believe that we are already living in the Millennial Reign of Christ.

It’s not an understatement to call preterism absolute heresy.

Partial-preterism is not much different. While partial-preterists don’t deny the Second Coming and White Throne Judgment, partial-preterists also believe that we are living in the millennial reign and that it is up to us to “usher in the kingdom.”
