How to be Saved

*I have a question for you

*if you were to die today, would you be 100% sure that you would go to heaven

*if you answered yes to that question, then why do you think that?

*are you basing it off of what you do or how good you are

*if that’s your reason then the Bible says that you’re not going to heaven

*because Romans 3:10 says:

*read 3:10

*so it’s impossible to earn your way into heaven because no one is perfect

*have you ever lied, have you ever cheated, have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever used God’s name in vain?

*Even if you haven’t cheated, or stolen, or committed a big sin like murder, everyone has lied at least once in their lifetime.

* The Bible says in Romans 6:23 “for the wages of sin is death …”

* And where it says death it doesn’t just mean death in this life, but eternal punishment in hell

*The bible calls this the second death in Revelation 21:8:

*read 21:8

*and where it says “all liars” it’s not talking about someone that just constantly lies. If you lie even once that is enough to get you into hell

*Revelation 22:15 says:

*that means even one lie

*That’s the bad news!

*but there’s also good news

* Read Romans 5:8

* Jesus Christ who is God in the flesh, took the penalty for all of our sins on Himself, and then died on the cross so that if we believe in Him you will be saved.

* In other words, Jesus took every bad thing that you’ve done, every bad thing that I’ve done, and every bad thing that the whole world has done and put it on Himself.

*John 3:16 says:

*but Jesus was more powerful than death and after 3 days he rose again

*look at 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

*now look at 1 Corinthians 15:55

*it’s saying that death has no sting because if you are believing on Jesus then you will overcome death and go to heaven

*but for the unbelieving it does have a sting

 

*so what do you have to do to be saved?

*First you have to admit that you are a sinner and I’m not saying that you have to turn away from all of your sins to be saved because that is impossible

*but just confess your sin to Jesus Christ believe that he took the penalty of your sins and put it on himself

*and died on the cross for you and rose again on the third day

*he did what you could not do for yourself so that you can go to heaven

*he paid your debt

*and all you have to do now is believe in Him and Him alone

*ask him to forgive of all your sins, past, present, and future

*once and for all

*and to become your savior

*Romans 10:9 says

*read 10:9

*also romans 10:13 says

*if you don’t know Jesus Christ as your savior then I invite you to believe on Him today so that you can be 100% sure that you will go to heaven

*you can call out to Jesus right now and ask Him to save you

*you can even pray with me right now

*Lord Jesus,

I know that I’m a sinner and that I deserve hell. I believe that you are the Lord and that you died on the cross, to take the penalty of my sins, and that you rose again on the third day, please forgive me right now of all of my sins, i ask you to be my savior.

Amen

*if you prayed that and you really meant it, then you have just been saved, welcome to the family of God

*now that you have been saved you need to get baptized and go to a good church that preaches from the King James Bible

*baptism and going to church doesn’t save you but the Bible commands you to do it after you have been saved

*and let other people know about Jesus so that they can also be saved

*and remember that there’s nothing that you can do to lose your salvation, once saved always saved
