GMOs, Monsanto, & Organic Food

Aside from being necessary for the sustenance of life, there’s something intrinsically important about Food & Fellowship around Food.

When the early church met together, the Bible records that believers would share meals together, “breaking bread from house to house”.

Acts 2:46 says: “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart …”

The Lord’s Supper itself is centered around the breaking of bread:

1 Corinthians 10:16-17:
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
17 For we [being] many are one bread, [and] one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

And so sharing meals is associated with fellowship & communion not only with one another, but with the Lord Himself.

Food is also listed as a source of blessing and life-giving sustenance in the Bible.

Speaking of His people, Jacob, God says in Deuteronomy 32:13-14:
13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.

What a rich description of FOOD AS BLESSING!

Likewise, when David was seeking refuge from Saul, Abigail came to his aid with a generous food offering:

1 Samuel 25:18: “Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.”

But today, we’ve taken what God intended as sustenance and a blessing & turned it into something unprecedented & dangerous.

FOOD is such an important part of Family, Church, & Fellowship. Yet most churches somehow miss this.

In the old days, families sat around the table to have meals together, w/ the father at the head of the table, the mother on the opposite side, the children in between …

representing the authority structures within that family.

But today, families are often split apart, sometimes with both parents working different shifts …

… or maybe the TV takes the centerpiece at dinner …

… or someone is busy on their cellphone.

And everyone is in a hurry.

By design, we’ve become an Artificial, Fast-Food, GMO nation with little time to reflect on God, on family, or on neighbors and friends.

And so what I want to preach about today … is GMOs, MONSANTO, & the IMPORTANCE of EATING ORGANIC FOOD.

And for some reason this issue has somehow been labeled a LIBERAL cause for the lunatic fringe of society.

Most Christians & conservatively minded people will normally scoff the moment they hear the words, “ORGANIC” or “GMO” ….

… & think you’re some kind of socialist hippy-Obama supporter.

But Hosea 4:6 says: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:”.

& That’s exactly what’s happening with our food industry.

3 John 1:2 says: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

So even John the Apostle placed some emphasis on physical health.

The Bible also calls our bodies “TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST” in 1 Corinthians 6:19:
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghostwhich is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”

And so it’s our responsibility as Christians TO BE SURE that we DO NOT pollute God’s temple with dangerous chemicals, harmful additives & foreign substances.

We wouldn’t want to pollute our body with cigarettes, chemical drugs, or excessive alcohol …

… anymore than we should want to pollute it with poisons, pesticides, unnatural preservatives, food coloring, and GMOs in our food.

So go ahead and turn in your Bibles to Genesis 1:11-12 and let’s see what God says about GMOs.

[YES, there are Bible verses that cover GMOs!]

GENESIS 1:11-12
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

So we see that God designed fruits and herbs (which here can also include vegetables) … to have its SEED IN ITSELF.

& The Bible explains that GOD MADE FOOD GOOD just as it is!

There’s no reason to tamper with it or to try to improve or modify it.

God saw that it was good.

In Genesis 9:3 God says to Noah after the flood: “Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.”

So God has collectively given to MAN all the animals and all vegetation, everything that comes up out of the ground … as FOOD.

So FOOD & WATER is not for 1 man or 1 company or 1 organization to own.

The right of man to possess and cultivate SEED is protected & inalienable, because GOD has given us the seed for food.

Genesis 1:29: “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”

GOD MADE the SEED, GOD GAVE THE SEED TO MAN, & GOD MADE THE SEED PERFECT.

Genesis 1:31: “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good …”

But what’s happened today is there is a multi-billion dollar corporation, named MONSANTO …

& MONSANTO is arguably the most evil company in existence today.

… Monsanto modifies seeds at the genetic level & then creates patents on seeds, and calls those seeds their intellectual property.

• WELL THEY CAN KEEP their FRANKENSTEIN SEEDS, because they’re a monstrosity of Creation.

But the issue is that GMO seeds can cross-pollinate and contaminate conventional seeds & non-GMO farms across the world.

And so eventually, there is the potential, that ALL SEEDS could become GMO SEEDS & therefore the INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY of Monsanto Corporation …

… who then controls the global food supply!

And I believe that this is by design … & Monstanto knows it.

It’s yet another factor in the End-Times NWO scenario.

But thank God that He says in His Word, in Genesis 8:22: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

I believe God will always reserve a portion of conventional seed for His people, while we are here.

So we can take comfort in that.

Now, MONSANTO formed in 1901 around the invention of SACCHARIN, a known cancer-causing drug that people consume as a sugar substitute.

MONSANTO also manufactured AGENT ORANGE during the Vietnam War, which has killed or injured millions of Vietnam vets and millions of Vietnamese …

… & has also caused hundreds of thousands of birth defects in babies.

Monsanto then made its mark as a PESTICIDE COMPANY with their product, ROUND-UP, a chemical pesticide spray.

They’re also responsible for BOVINE GROWTH HORMONE, a dangerous steroid injection for cows which unnaturally increases milk production …

… but also causes mastitis & disease in the cows.
So they also receive a dose of anti-biotics.

But today, MONSANTO provides us with our food!

• So you have the makers of AGENT ORANGE & BOVINE GROWTH HORMONE providing us with our food!

• It’s like straight out of 1984 (by George Orwell).

• &, GENETIC MODIFICATION goes AGAINST GOD’S NATURAL ORDER.

The modification of the seed itself is a DEFILEMENT of what God has already made good.

PLACING PATENTS ON SEEDS is contrary to our God-given right to own seeds, especially when those ALIEN SEEDS start contaminating our natural God-given seeds.

Leviticus 19:19 says: “Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: …”
And I realize this an OT Verse, but the general principle still applies.

Deuteronomy 22:19 also: “Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.”

The Bible says that the FRUIT of mingled seeds are DEFILED.

That’s the same word that the Bible uses for “rape”.
That’s the first time “defiled” appears in the Bible.

So it’s like raping a seed’s structure at the genetic level.
That’s how strongly God feels about it.

It’s a defilement of His creation, the same way that a TEST TUBE BABY w/ no parents or CLONING HUMANS or genetically modifying human DNA for selective breeding …

…. is a defilement of GOD’S NATURAL ORDER.

• There’s Even Talk of GMO BABIES … creating babies with 3 sets of parents through DNA & mitochondrial manipulation.

And, of course, they’re also experimenting with GMO meat & even MEAT for consumption from CLONED ANIMALS …

… or MILK from CLONED COWS.

SO, HOW ARE GMO SEEDS MADE? &Why are they so dangerous?

GMO seeds are engineered by transferring genetic material from one organism into another organism to create specific, desired traits.

So seeds are cross-bred at the genetic level to produce, in most cases, a seed that is resistant to pesticide sprays.

That way you can spray a crop with all the pesticide you want & kill all the weeds growing around it, without harming the crop.

Or they even make GMO crops, called BT PLANTS, which act as the pesticide itself, & releases the pesticide into the soil from the crop itself.

So the CROP that you eat IS the pesticide.

And one way that they do this is to isolate the traits that they want & INJECT the seed with BACTERIA that carries the genetically modified traits into the seed …

• So they’re injecting the SEED with BACTERIA to create GMOs!

• But eventually the pesticides become ineffective.

And what ends up happening is SUPER-WEEDS are formed.

ROUND-UP (the original pesticide) is then no longer effective.

And so FARMERS TODAY are spraying 10x the amount of pesticide they used to spray about 15 years ago.

But eventually, the pesticides become completely ineffective against the SUPER-WEEDS.

And so the farmer has to resort to a stronger, more dangerous pesticide …

… called 2,4-D (which is 50% of the chemical ingredient used in AGENT-ORANGE)!

So in some cases, we’re literally spraying our crops w/ 50% AGENT ORANGE!

& that’s inevitably the direction we’re heading in!

• A 2009 International Journal of Biological Sciences study found that rats who consumed GMO CORN for 90 days had severe liver & kidney damage, higher metabolic rates, impaired embryonic development, & also developed mammary tumors.

• A 2012 scientific study from the Journal of Applied Toxicology, found that GMO foods could affect human tissue at the cellular level, when combined pesticides like ROUND UP.

Now, CORN is the #1 crop in the US and approx. 90% or more of all corn grown today is GMO.

94% of all soy beans are also GMO.

So it’s pretty much guaranteed that if you got to a restaurant and order corn or soy …

… it’s GMO, including all that delicious soy sauce!

Other GMO crops include CANOLA (90%), COTTON (90%), PAPAYA (75%), Alfalfa, Zucchini, Squash, & also majority of all SUGARs are GMO.

Something like 80% of all products on grocery-store shelves are also GMO, because they contain some kind of CORN PRODUCT …

… like HIGH-FRUCTOSE corn syrup …

And a lot of these other chemicals that you see listed in the ingredients are also byproducts of GMO Corn …

like cellulose, saccharin, polydextrose, & xanthan gum …

These are all derived from GMO corn.

& Because the GOVERNMENT subsidizes corn (gives money to farmers to grow corn) …

… there’s more corn being produced than we can consume, so they turn it into other products.

That’s why a bag of chips made from corn is cheaper than a head of broccoli.

The government is paying farmers to grow GMO corn!

So not only is our GOVERNMENT failing to keeping us SAFE from these foods …

… but they’re actually taxing us and subsidizing GMO foods!

Other GMO ingredients include: Amino Acids, Aspartame, Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Ascorbate, Vitamin C, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Ethanol, both “natural” & “artificial” flavorings), Maltodextrins, Monosodium Glutamate, Sucrose, & most Yeast Products.

Now some foods ARE NOT GMO, because companies have not yet been successful in producing certain GMO crops.

& They’re focusing on the main bigger crops at the moment.

But they’re ultimate goal is to take over & patent the world’s food supply.

But even if some foods are not GMO, it doesn’t mean that they’re safe to eat …

… because they’re still being sprayed …
1 example is the TOMATOE.

There are no GMO Tomatoes in production today, because they couldn’t get the flavor right, but …

… when you buy non-organic tomatoes from the grocery-store they’re picked while they’re still green …

… and are ripened using ehtylene gas.

& while the USDA, the FDA, & the EPA are supposed to act as our safeguards against corporate greed …

… these behemoth tax-funded government organizations are instead conspiring with Monsanto & other Food conglomerates …

… to deceive the public they are supposed to serve & protect.

They’re protecting the very companies they’re supposed to keep accountable!

The USDA is supposed to ensure that our foods are safe to GROW.

The FDA is supposed to ensure that our foods are safe to EAT.

& The EPA is supposed to ensure that growing FOOD will not harm our environment.
But they’re all failing miserably, & it’s by design.

There’s what’s called a REVOLVING DOOR at these govt agencies …where executives flip back & forth between Monsanto & government positions.

For example, Michael Taylor: the FDA’s deputy commissioner for policy was previously an attorney for MONSANTO.

TAYLOR wrote the FDA’s labelling guidelines for bovine growth hormone given to dairy cows.

Before that, Michael Taylor worked as a lawyer at Monsanto preparing legal work for the same bovine growth hormone, for which he later wrote the legislation at the FDA!

Linda J. Fisher: Assistant Administrator for the EPA’s Office of Pollution, Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances… is now Vice President of Government and Public Affairs for Monsanto Corporation.

Michael A. Friedman: Acting commissioner of the FDA’s Department of Health and Human Services . . . is now senior vice-president for clinical affairs at 1 of Monsanto’s pharmaceutical divisions.

Marcia Hale: former assistant to the White House, under President Clinton. . . now Director of International Government Affairs for Monsanto Corporation.

Margaret Miller . . . Chemical laboratory supervisor for Monsanto, . . .now Deputy Director of Human Food Safety at the FDA.

The list just goes on & on … I mean there’s pages of this …

Even former Sec. of Defense, DONALD RUMSFELD & current Supreme Court Justice, CLARENCE THOMAS, held former positions at MONSANTO.

• OK, so let’s talk about 2 OF THE MAIN MEATS that we all eat: CHICKEN & BEEF.

CHICKEN today grows twice as fast & twice as big as God intended!

The age of slaughter has dropped from 16-weeks in the 1950s to only 7-weeks today!

& since the BREAST is the most sought after part of the chicken, the hormones are mainly concentrated into the breasts.

Today’s chicken carries 7 times more breast muscle than it did 25 years ago!

The result is that the chickens usually can’t hold their own weight and just wobble around on the ground.

Now think about your children for a minute …

• What do you think eating those GROWTH HORMONES in that meat does to your children?

Children are now showing signs of puberty as early as 6, 7, & 8 years old!

So we’re seeing EARLY PUBERTY as a result of all the HORMONES in our meat & milk.

• One of those hormones is ESTROGEN.

What do you think that does to MEN? ESTROGEN is a FEMALE HORMONE!

And in certain meats there’s the male hormone, TESTOSTERONE, which women then consume.

And so we’re seeing a blending of men become more effeminate & women becoming more masculine.

BEEF:

God designed COWS to eat GRASS.
There’s even a Bible verse about that!

Deuteronomy 11:15 says: “And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.”

Psalm 104:14 also says: “He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;”

So a cow’s digestive system has been designed, by GOD, to graze on grass & to chew the cud …
But because GMO CORN is so cheap (since it’s subsidized by the US GOVERNMENT) …

… and since it’s cheaper to pack as many cows as you can into a cheap, muddy field …

…. rather than to let them graze on rich grasslands & prairies …

COWS today are being fed GMO CORN instead of GRASS.

& Since COWS were not designed by God to eat corn, the cows start developing E.COLI in their guts.

• & so they inject the COWS with ANTI-BIOTICS.

& we’re not sick, we don’t need anti-biotics, but we’re ingesting them through our food …

… & thereby destroying our own beneficial bacteria in our guts.

STAPH INFECTIONS or MRSA is also created …

…which are SUPER-BACTERIA that become resistant to anti-biotics.

• Just like the SUPER-WEEDS.
• So that’s why when you go to a natural or organic grocer, they advertise, “GRASS-FED, ANTI-BIOTICS-FREE” Meat.

That’s what you want! …

… Cows that GRAZE ON GRASSES – the way God intended!

• OK, so I have some examples of FOOD’s from the store.

And I realize that the #1 challenge in eating organically is TIME, MONEY, & CONVENIENCE.

You simply have to Prioritize your budget.

You have to choose what’s important & what’s not.

Unplug your TV CABLE (it’s all junk & evil anyway).

Maybe get rid of your cell phone if you have to (& get a landline instead).

I went through the 80s & most of the 90s w/out a cell phone!

… Eat out less, make more home-cooked meals.

… And I know it’s really hard …

But you need to make this a priority!
& They’re attacking us on all sides, from CHEMTRAILS in our skies, to FLOURIDE in our WATER, to harmful VACCINES to our children …

• So we have to remain VIGILANT!

• & GOD WILL PROVIDE a way.

GOD DOES NOT WANT YOU TO EAT GMOs and non-organic food!

I know that might seem crazy! But it’s true!

• GOD hates MONSANTO!

• THE BIBLE is AGAINST GMO Foods!

• & GOD is against us spraying our food with pesticides!

It wasn’t until after WW2 in the 1950s, that some farmers began to even use pesticides …

Before that, for 6,000 years, God provided food without the use of chemicals or GMOs or anything else.

This is a recent occurrence in the history of the world!

Psalm 37:25 says: “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.”
• God will never allow His people to starve.

So Let’s close with some promises from God’s Word on how God will feed us & care for us!

Psalm 147:9 says: “He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.”

If God feeds the beasts & the birds when they cry, how much more you?

Jesus says the same thing in Matthew 6:26: “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”

Jesus said in Matthew 7:9-11:
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

When Jacob blessed Joseph, it says, in Genesis 48:5: “And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,”

Jacob acknowledged that it was GOD THAT FED HIM, and so we should expect that God will feed us also as we follow Him …

… real food that has not been TAINTED, that hasn’t been POISONED, & is PURE.

Just like the Bible, you don’t want a GMO version of the Bible that’s been altered and changed … like the modern corruptions …

• We should expect the same from our food.

• Don’t get the fake altered version!

• Get the REAL THING!

Psalm 111:5 says that God gives meat to those who fear Him: “He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.”

In psalm 136:25 the Bible says God gives food to ALL flesh because of His mercy: “Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

Matthew 6:11 says Jesus teaches us to pray: “Give us this day our daily bread.”

He’ll multiply our food like He did for the 5,000!

Even if He has to do it miraculously!
